PF Argument Breakdown
Having a basic understanding of popular arguments on each topic is important for debaters at all levels when planning cases, writing blocks, or developing late-round strategies on each topic. Unfortunately traveling to tournaments every weekend is wildly expensive, and so are carded briefs.

You may download the following free “briefs” for Public Forum debate. We will have actively updated Google Docs while the topic is still being debated, and will upload a compiled PDF at the end of the topic.

Anyone is welcome to contribute arguments they have heard at tournaments, and links to those forms will all be on this page. Beyond Resolved may edit your response for clarity.

Please note, we make a conscious decision to only provide explanations for arguments, and not evidence, as research is a skill that should be developed.

Beyond Resolved's argument breakdowns are currently sponsored by Public Forum Academy.

Prior to the Nocember 2020 topic, argument breakdowns were made in collaboration with Learn Public Forum.
